The Pirates of the Caribbean movie series have captivated audiences all over the world. The visual arts involved with the productions of the series has been a huge success at the box office. And as any popular franchise, it costed millions of dollars. The movies started in 2003 with the release of the first film from the franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
A series produced by Disney. Seen The franchise releasing five sequels. The movies were set in the golden age of piracy, with Johnny Depp playing the iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow on all of them, not missing one. Sparrow doesn't give his story away, or start as a young boy and let us know what become of him later. As a boy who was destined to become a pirate in all of the movies of the Disney franchise: Pirates of the Caribbean. The series also officially launched to stardom, young stars like Orlando Bloom playing Will Turner, Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann, and many other young artists. The movies follow the adventures of him, Captain Sparrow, which goes by the full name: Jack Sparrow.
Captain Jack, navigates through a coursed sea, where the dead have more actions and words to say than the living. The sea is cursed with revenge, rivalry, corruption and war, which involves very 'big angry pirates', not only stealing from one another but killing one another, and resurrecting each other in between as they see fit. And some of those cursed pirates even morphed into 'fish' to keep battling and revenging one another from undersea. So, it is pure action indeed.
With no proper laws in place at sea and room to keep up with the fast paced action and all their pirate tricks, the movie was presented to us all having Jack Sparrow was its most affluent pirate that flourished for years throughout the franchise and was able to tell more than his own tale. Sometimes fighting together with his fellow pirates, or against them all. Between treacherous waters, battles and revenge he co-existed as Captain on our screens and kept the tale alive to us all. Jack Sparrow became real and was introduced in our own world with the release of the first movie. (That's what visual does, creates reality). As soon as released, it sold millions of tickets throughout box offices all over the world, because it bursts into the scene telling his own story and Elizabeth's story arrives attached to it, involving William turner and Black Pearl entire crew. Making us all wonder if pirate Jack too already knew pirate Jack's story ( How 'piraty' of him if he did... and to arrive in Hollywood telling us all his own story... without we even noticing. Ah-hoy).We all arrive later into the franchise to found out who gave Jack Sparrow his own famous name while watching the movies. So better keep up with the story from the beginning. And we could say, without spoiling, that Jack Sparrow's name wasn't made it up from an AI program (at least that's not how we discover, and we hope there's no more into it, although when in matters of Hollywood. We know it can)... Very exciting days ahead, as he of corse, lives to tell all the tales we are about to discover later on! (clap-clap-clap)......
The first movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, introduced Johnny Depp as the main character and gave life to the central cast, officially opening the series to the world. The movie actually tells more the story of Elizabeth Swann, and how Jack came to life in an apparently non-existent ship, while 'docking' in Port Royal at the same time Elizabeth Swan was in need of help. A surprise for both Elizabeth and Jack.
Will Turner, a blacksmith who is in love with Elizabeth, teams up with the Captain and the lady to rescue her from her own fellowman. The movie is a sci-fi Pirate adventure with a touch of great-out- of-this-world elements, as the pirates are cursed over and over throughout the series with unbelievable twists and turns by unexpected individuals.
The second movie from the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, picks up where the first one left off. And introduces us all to an underwater pirate and his crew. Davy Jones and crew (which includes his beating heart living on a secret and sacred chest separated from his own body), hence the name of the movie 'Dead Man's Chest', was a fearless pirate who dedicated most of his 'living dead' life to getting revanche from Jack.
The third movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, have a feeling of concluding the story of the trilogy so far by giving it an end. But we found this to be one of the biggest mystery of the franchise. In the third movie, Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann also teams up, but not to fight only pirates but to fight against the East India Trading Company, which at this time is seeking to control the seas of the world and wipe out piracy for their own benefit. Using pirates at their disposal, or anyone they see fit, as privateers for the British King's flag. The movie is a thrilling adventure with stunning visuals and reserves its best epic battles of the series so far.
The fourth movie of the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, doesn't feel as a sequel from the previous movies but an addition. Introducing a new story to unfold. It takes place after the events of the first three movies of the series and welcome a new cast of stars. In this movie, Jack Sparrow searches for the Fountain of Youth, while illegally on board of Queen Anne Revanche's ship, and being pursued by pirates, including the most legendary pirates of them all, Blackbeard and his daughter Angelica. The movie introduces all the new characters of the series, and explores new territories, making it a refreshing addition to the series and introduces a new group of very intimidating mermaids that can leave any pirate fearing even for his 'sea' life. Pure entertainment.
The fifth movie and final of the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (Original tittle) - Salazar's Revenge, also introduces a completely new cast and storyline to the series. It follows the adventures of Jack Sparrow running away from the undead and oldest rival, the Spanish Captain Salazar, who seeks revenge against Jack throughout the undead world. Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann also make a return in this movie, as they help their son Henry Turner on his quest to break a curse that prevents him from seeing his father ever again.
Pirates of the Caribbean movie series is undeniably an amazingly Graphic Production. That can captures the eye of anyone that enjoys a pirate's story. And there's plenty of it on the franchise. The stories are capable to transport us all from one reality to another, or even to invite. The excitement of the franchise have captured the hearts of many people around the world. From children to adults. The series is known for its iconic characters, thrilling action sequences, stunning visual effects and epic storylines. With a sixth movie being on the cards for a long time but never officially announced to be released and Pirates waiting on post for a sequel...
